They’re creepy and they’re kooky…
To continue highlighting Booking.com’s alternative accommodations, the company partnered with MGM to create a real life replica of the iconic family’s home just in time for the debut of the animated Addams Family film and the Halloween season.
We found a three-bedroom, 3,700 square foot, 19th century townhouse located in historic, Clinton Hill, Brooklyn where we captured all the macabre that has made The Addams Family a fan favorite for decades. Realistic features allowed guests to tinker with machines in Pugsley's Room, play with Wednesday's beheaded doll in the living room, and even care for some of Morticia's carnivorous plants.
The listing for the property went live on Oct. 28th for the nights of the 29th, 30th, 31st and 1st of Nov. All four nights sold out within 30 minutes and the program drove over 55,000 visitors to the Booking.com website.
We were able to exceed our KPIs 5x and had the Addams Family featured on local and national broadcast segments, including NBC’s Early Today Show and News 12, as well as top tier online publications, such as USA Today, Travel + Leisure, Bustle, Martha Stewart Living, Thrillist, Maxim, Hypebeast, Insider and CNBC.
